The Return Of The Dominion (version 1.0) by Cpt Geddes.

I decided to make this mod because the Dominion is my favourite race
and I wanted to make a better version than the other dom mod.

Befor you install you must first unzip all *.zip files.

To install open the Armada 2 main directory and copy all:
*.tga files to Textures\RGB folder.
*.sod files to SOD folder.
*.spr files to sprites folder.
*.tt files to techtree folder.
*.aip files to ai\aips folder.
*.bmp files to bitmaps\admiralslog\overlays folder.
*.cfg files to misc folder.
*.wav files to sounds\voicepover\ingame folder.
*.dat files to the main directory.
*.map files to the main directory.

Copy all odf\other files to the odf\other folder.
Copy all odf\ships files to the odf\ships folder.
Copy all odf\stations files to the odf\stations folder.
Copy all odf\special weapons files to the odf\special weapons folder.
Copy all odf\weapons\photons files to the odf\weapons\photons folder.
Copy all odf\weapons\phasers files to the odf\weapons\phasers folder.
Copy all odf\weapons\pulse files to the odf\weapons\pulse folder.

I don't understand about naming files properly. I have named all files properly. If you follow the install instructions all ships should be textured.


What ships are un-textured as this is really annoying me.


Help from other modders would be welcome.

I got one of many texture probs: The Dominion Scout ship isn't texture right.

I have found the prob on that one - it does has texture to it if anyone needs to know. Yet, still experiencing some other crashes, like the rest of. :roll:

I would like every one to know that I made all of ralphrobots files as I am ralprobot. Ralphrobot is only my e-mail not my screen name. My screen name is Cpt Geddes not ralphrobot. :mad:

PLZ make an AUTO-INSTALLER PROGRAM Its is so tirring putting all thoughs folders in place, most of them aren't labelled properly!!!! This would increase the mod greatly!!

I downloaded your file, no problem, thought it was a good thing from the screen shot. But when i tried to unzip it, i got a window saying i couldn't extract it, i checked and my computer told me that the file was corrupted, you might want to check it.

to anyone with problems not getting it to show up on instant action, i had the same prob until i made sure all the folders were in the right spot


i hope i don't run into any problems when i play this, but some of the folders are in the wrong location (odf, sounds for ex)

i just tried to run this thing and it won't work ( i was playing as the dominion )

the game crashes before i can play it ( this is the ONLY mod i have on this game on this drive [ 3 drives, 3 copies of armada ii, one copy to be untouched ] )

Have you try to download and play the Dominion Ultimate 1.1 mod instead of this one? It's the latest and best working one. Oh, don't get me wrong for 'pushing up' my mod. Cpt. Geddes and previous modders did a good job too with theirs. If it wasn't for them, mine wouldn't be here today. I think you WON'T be dissappointed of Dominion Ultimate 1.1 exe mod. Try that and LMK what you think? :-)
