Additional Dominion Stations & Workbee Ship
Here are additional Dominion Stations that can be used in the Dominion Ultimate mod. Also included is a (in my opinion) really cool workbee ship for the Dominion, that builds all stations for all races for the Dominion!

DESCRIPTION:
Here are additional Dominion Stations that can be used in the Dominion Ultimate mod.
The 1st station is the 'Ketracel-White' Mining Facility Station(it's only another type of mining station)
but armed with weapons. The second station is a OutPost Station. This can be used as a outpost for early dectections
of enermies' activities at a distance and/or protection missions. Both stations are also very useful for
asteroid fields'camouflage/concealment missions/battles.
Also added in this mod is Dominion's OWN WORKBEE SHIPS! These are the little ships that BUILDS ALL
the station of ALL RACES in the game. Well, the Dominion NOW has their OWN workbee ships!

INSTALLATION:
This is a zipped files program and should be EXTRACTED first into a SEPERATE folder, then place
those folders into your Star Trek Main directory in this way:
C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II
1. Place any .SOD files into the 'SOD' directory.
2. Place any .tga files into the 'Textures' directory.
3. Place gui_dominion.spr file into the 'Sprites' directory.
4. All odf folders into the 'odf' folder directory.
5. Place misc folder into the 'misc' directory.
6. Place sounds folder into the 'sounds' directory.
7. Place bitmaps folder into 'bitmaps' directory.
8. Place these files into your MAIN Directory: event.dat(*), ART_CFG(*) & RTS_CFG(*)
Now, some EDITING of certain files(to not altenate ANY OF your PERSONAL FILES settings):
1) Open up your 'dconst'.odf file and add the station to the list like this:
buildItemXX = "dketracelwst" (where 'XX' is the next built item)
buildItemXX = "dketracelwst2" (where 'XX' is the next built item)
Then, copy and paste this over the 'workerBeeName' line:
workerBeeName = "dbee"
*This can also be added to the Breen's construction ship('brconst.odf') as well*
2) Open you techtree folder, then both 'tech1.tt' & 'earlytech.tt' files and add the station to the Dominion Station list like this:
dketracelwst.odf 0 // ketracel white mining station
dketracelwst2.odf 1 dresear2.odf // outpost station
3) Replace 'dfreight.odf' to be like this:
dfreight.odf 2 dbase.odf dketracelwst.odf
4) Open your 'fulltech.tt' file and add this to the list:
dketracelwst.odf 0
dketracelwst2.odf 0 (both in the Dominion stations section)
5) Open your gui-global.spr file and add these:

6) OPTIONAL INSTALLATION OF 'AIP' FILES:
This is the AIP files that includes the Ketracel-White Mining Station in its' build list.
If you want to play against your PC with the station buildable, just replace the files with
the ones in this mod(BACK-UP YOUR ORIGINAL SETTINGS of AIP files before INSTALLING THESE! WILL
NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY UNEXAMPLED CRASHES TO YOUR PC, SO RISK IT ON YOUR OWN HERE)!
THAT SHOULD BE IT....RESTART & RUN IT!
Additional NOTE:
YOU MUST HAVE these mods installed already: the regular game's 1.1 patch, the DOMINION ULTIMATE 1.1 exe
and Dominion 1.1 Update mod pre-installed before adding this! IF NOT, INSTALL THEM ALL first!
Some files may be OVERWRITTEN like; events.dat file that you may already edited/modified, so back up your files!
If you're a EXPERT in editing files and don't want your personalized files changed, then I suggest to
back-up your personalized/modified files and do what you know best in EDITING.

Did you texture the asteroids a few faces at a time?? The reason I'm asking is because the actual texturing seems stretched too out of proportion, especially considering the texture pixel depth your using (high res should denote good detail on the model).
The worker bee is a good mesh but texturing could have had more time over it. I noticed that your mesh doesn't use the entire texture map so is this texture used for something else in your mod??
As it stands this mod is well presented, but I would say lacks a certain sparkle that I've noticed some people tend to prefer. A decent job and a nice little addition. Your certainly getting much better with time. 8/10
Your "minor quibble"-ings once again never cease to amaze many - we thank you for it. Well, I've chatted with my co-partner about what some of the things you said here and this is what we(Michael Raab originally) decided why this mod IS:
1) Michael Raab have overworked an old texture for the mining station, so that is the reason why it is so small. He said he can try make another one, but personally I rather not make another 'patch' at this time for I don't see much a difference/practical reason, but WILL SEE....
2) The texture I used for the workbee is based on the texture I use for my breen ships(I have only changed the colors).
"Lack of Sparkle for some people tend to prefer"? Well, if this is somewhat TRUE....I'm sorry, kids, but not here to PLEASE ALL. Don't mean to be abit BLUNT, but I can not/will not SATISFY ALL gamers of this site, if this is the case. Reality check: This is not 'Burger King', so you can't "HAVE IT YOUR WAY"(if ya thinking this way), happy gamers!

I would say yes that you can use it for your mod. I would say maybe Michael may have no objections on this as well(but will mention this to him). Keep me posted on your progress though for I'm curious of it(and don't forget to credit us).
Since purchasing Star Trek Armada II, I've wanted to play as the Dominion the most. I've properly installed all of your mods in the right order up to this one, and so far everything has worked properly. I love it! Now here's the problem... I've correctly installed this patch by following all of your directions in the read-me including the editing, but I can't build any of the new stations. Any ideas? Thanks. And, great mod!

The additional stations in THIS mod are for OPTIONAL REPLACEMENT reasons. Meaning, the Ketracel-White station is a substitute for the mining station and the OutPost station is for the replacement of either pulse/torpedo turrets. You have to the do the EDITING of the appropiate files in order to add these two stations into your game.
I have the game, 1.1 patch, the dom ultimate 1.1 exe, and the dom founder's yacht installed, now adding the ADDITIONAL DOMINION STATIONS & DOMINION'S 'WORKBEE' SHIP, or trying.
game works fine before installing the mod. crashed after install while loading instant action game. I have removed the outpost from the all odf and tech files to leave the ketracel white. i've replaced the default mining station with the ketracel and it still crashed while loading the game. The game readme says to install the dominion 1.1 update first, but i can not find it anywhere only the dominion 1.3 update, should i install it first?
Also in the readme it specifys info to add to the gui-global.spr
I'm only adding info for the ketrecel white, do i add them at the bottom of the dom sections they belong in, before or after the 'reference' lines?
