Star Trek (2009) Weapons Pack
The new film, Star Trek, has been giving us lots to look forward to in this modding community. We've been provided with most of the Federation starships we saw in that film-- now Jetfreak gives us a fantastic looking weapons pack for those vessels, designed to look a lot like what we saw on screen.
Just as a point of reference: any comments about this file that are actually about the film itself will be edited. Don't push your luck.
Looking forward to all the PotD shots people will be getting from using this pack with their ST2009 ships! Another fantastic mod from Jet!

Star Trek (2009) Weapons Pack
- Designed to fit perfectly with our Alternate Reality Content on site. This addon will add the new weapons which are seen in Star Trek (2009).
- Featuring fairly accurate renditions on what was seen on the film, this brings your fleet, one step closer to canon. (no pun intended)
- Considering these weapons date from 2233 and 2258, I have edited their strengths accordingly for better game balance.
- Disclamier: Constitution and Kelvin not included.

How To Install:
1. Place all .tga files in the textures/rgb folder
2. Place all the .wav/sound files into the sounds/effects folder
3. Put the .odf files into their respective places:
All Phaser files to odf/weapon/phaser
All Torpedo files to odf/weapon/photon
All Pulse files to odf/weapon/pulse
4. Add the following to the weapons.spr, make sure they are aligned properly.
Find the line and Place below:
# Federation Photon torpedo
//quantum torpedo only
XIphoton XItorp 0 0 32 32 @anim=tex4x4
Find the line and Place below:
# Federation Pulse phaser

To install into a ship:
In the ship odf file of your choice (located in odfships) copy and paste the following
weaponX = "weapon odf name"
weaponHardpointsX = "hp01" "hp02" "hp03"
NOTES: Replace X with the number your weapon is on the ship. If each other weapon is numbered 1 to 4, change X to 5.
If you want more phaser beams to come out, install three to four phasers to better simulate what was seen on the film.
