Now this is awesome...

Raphael has modified the Galaxy class odf to have it function as both a Battlecruiser and a Cargo Ship! Very nice idea, and nice execution Smile


Cargo Galaxy Class


This is a Galaxy Class battleship, but she has Cargo bays... She can transport 2000 crew or 2000 latinum or 2000 metal or 2000 dilithium, etc...

Put the Ftgalaxy.SOD in the SOD folder. Put the ftgalaxy.bmp in the BITMAPS/ADMIRALS LOG/ SHIP IMAGES folder. Put the ftgalaxy.odf, tgalaxy.odf and cargo1.odf files in the ODF/SHIPS folder.
Open fulltech.tt file, in TECHTREE folder and add these lines:
ftgalaxy.odf 0
Open tech1.tt and add these lines:
ftgalaxy.odf 1 fyard2.odf // battleship (galaxy class)
Open Gui_Global.spr (SPRITES)... Search for FEDERATION BUILD BUTTONS and add:
b_ftgalaxy gbfgalaxy 0 0 64 64

Search for "fgalaxyw1 fedwireframe01 0 48 48 48
fgalaxyw2 fedwireframe01 48 48 48 48
fgalaxyw3 fedwireframe01 96 48 48 48
fgalaxyw4 fedwireframe01 144 48 48 48
fgalaxyw5 fedwireframe01 192 48 48 48 " and add these lines under:
ftgalaxyw1 fedwireframe01 0 48 48 48
ftgalaxyw2 fedwireframe01 48 48 48 48
ftgalaxyw3 fedwireframe01 96 48 48 48
ftgalaxyw4 fedwireframe01 144 48 48 48
ftgalaxyw5 fedwireframe01 192 48 48 48

Add this ship to Federation Advanced Shipyard.

every time I try to down load it gives me an empty file. I unzip it , but nothing comes up. :o

a good idea. Technicly any ship could be a cargo ship.
