This is the Version 1.0 refit for the Borg and Federation, there will be more versions later because of bugs and inpruvments, all ships and stations have been enhanced in some way, the borg now have 1 super Cube, like it is in the show, and the Galaxy Class has been refited to be a war machine, and has starbase weaponry, and it's suppossed to have all federation tehcnology, but it's only showing some, so there are bugs to be worked out, same with the diamond, it's been refited to carry all the borg tehcnologys, but only shows some. The Tatical, Fusion, and Tatical Fusion Cubes have been replaced by a Battle Cube, it is more realistic in the sense of size and strength. The Sovrern and Galaxy class has been refitted to be more powerful, and now have Regenerative Shields and Armor.

As many of you probably know, the demo version of armada 2 is designed to prevent people from using mods.

To implement this, the demo monitors the checksum of all files in the Odf\Ships folder. So that if any changes are made to that folder, or it's files the game will not run.

However they neglected to monitor the Odf\Stations folder in the same manner, and it turns out that any files in the Odf\Stations folder override any in the Odf\Ships folder.

So that (using the instructions contained in Armada2 Demo Install.txt) the ship Odf files are placed in the odf\stations folder instead of the odf\ships folder: This allows the federation and borg mods to be installed into the demo, and the game still runs.
No negative side-effects have been observed using this installation method, and it has been thoroughly tested in a fresh install of armada2 demo.
