Version 1.1 of this mod includes new texture sets (at 512x512), and some corrections to the weapons included.

Notes:

This model has a poly count of 2055 and it uses a four 1024 x 1024 texture maps. Also included are
a set of 512 x 512 texture maps for slower computers and a set of alternate 512 x 512 dark hull
textures and a new phaser flare.

Multiple attempts were made to contact the orginal authors in order to seek their
permission to use and convert this model to Star Trek Armada. These attempts were unsucessful;
however, if said authors don't wish for thier work to be used by the A1 community every attempt
will be made to remove it from download locarions.

Setup Instructions:

1. Download file
===============================================
Download file, virus check and extract files to a known location other than the Armada directory

===============================================
2. Copy files
===============================================

Copy the *.SOD to your Armada SOD directory

Copy the object definition files (*.odf) Armada addon directory
C:Program FilesActivisionStar Trek - Armadaaddon

Copy the graphics files (*.tga) to your Armada TexturesRgb Directory

For low res textures, copy the files in the Low Res Textures folder to
C:Program FilesActivisionStar Trek - ArmadaTexturesRGB

For dark hull textures, copy the files in the Alternate Textures folder to

3. Mod the shipyard files and make it buildable by the shipyard
===============================================

Open the Romulan shipyard odf file (e.g., fyard2.odf) and insert a new builditem
under the construction parameters:

Where X is the next available number in the sequence.

4. Mod the appropriate Techfile files

Open an appropriate techtree file (e.g., tech1.tt is for standard tech mode) and add the following lines.

5. Mod the Gui_global.spr to add build buttons and wireframes

Open the gui_global.spr file located in the Sprites folder.

This has become one of my main attack ships. A small fleet of these can do damage quickly. The design is great, well done.

To answer the V 1 comment on this, I built the original ship for BC by the way, The name was mis-spelt as was the ticonderosa name!! Anyway the meaning doesn't equate to giving up. It means adaptable. The design concept was to have interchangable saucer pods to enable the ship to be quickly configured for mission specific agenda!
