This is an excelent tutorial by Wrath of Achilles that will give you the basics of making textures and texturing models. It includes pictures to guide you along and all the things you'll need to get started including a model that the tutorial refers to. If your having problems in texturing then this is for you!

Brilliant, I never thought I would grasp texturing but this tutorial made it possible. A good tool to have :thumbsup:
