I read through the first part of this, then thumbed through the rest. Other than explaining in detail how to install a ship and make sure all the appropriate files are there, it shows what NOT to do as well, which is equally important and helps to root out any mistakes you've made. What is also ncie about it is the "human" feel to it. It has been written for reading and following in mind and does a good job at it.

In short, for those of you having trouble installing your new ships or stations, this is a very practical and good tutorial to get.

A very minor tutorial which answers some of the questions I have seen in the Forums and comments of the Downloads.

-I have mentioned by name within this document the intellectual property of other people whom have submitted articles/items to this site. I did not, as far as I could tell, modify said articles with the intent of presenting it as my own work. I did credit, by name, the articles I mentioned to their original authors.

Thanks for the kind words, ChileTrek. I can't draw, but I can analyze. "I can't get it to work!" is a pretty common complaint around here and I didn't see anything on the site which addressed this. Just trying to help. BTW, if anyone wants to actually create a "USS UberShip" feel free to do so, heehee. My next project is to turn my 18 wheeler (Peterbilt 387 w/500 HP Detroit Diesel) into a ship for the Klingons

Fits right in. Loud, Brash, and completely Unstoppable. Hmmm... where'd I put that Klingon grammar primer?
