The recent Star Trek film saw a brand new 'spacedock' model used in Earth's orbit. FahreS has done a fantastic job reproducing that station here.

This station is able to build and repair and it is a mining station for Dilithium and Latinum. You can choose between 3 build hardpoints for small, medium and big sized ships, 2 repair and 3 docking hardpoints (check the station's ODF).

Damage textures, borg textures, and the first time in FahreS' mods, borg damage textures, appear depending upon the condition of your station.

This is a brilliant effort and definitely worth the download.

Information about this mod
This mod adds the Star Trek XI Stardock to your Armada 2 install.
This station is able to build and repair and
it is a mining station for Dilithium and Latinum.
You can choose between 3 build hardpoints for small, medium and big sized ships,
2 repair and 3 docking hardpoints (check the station's ODF).
Damage textures, borg textures, and the first time in my mod borg damage textures,
appear depending upon the condition of your station.

Its not needed for gameplay, but then this station looks better.


Installation instructions Steps


1.1 Copy the folders

"SOD", "odf" "Textures" and "bitmaps"

in your Armada 2 directory to:
"...ActivisionStar Trek Armada II"

Hit Replace all, when prompted.


1.2 WARNING!

This Stardock uses some 1024x1024 pixel textures.
if your computer cant handle them (you will notice graphic issues),
choose this directory:

"...ActivisionStar Trek Armada IITexturesRGB"

and delete these files:
fwxisbat2.tga
fwxisbat2d.tga
fwxisbat2_b.tga
fwxisbat2d_b.tga

but rename the following files by deleting the "512" from their filenames.
512fwxisbat2.tga -> fwxisbat2.tga
512fwxisbat2d.tga -> fwxisbat2d.tga
512fwxisbat2_b.tga -> fwxisbat2_b.tga
512fwxisbat2d_b.tga -> fwxisbat2d_b.tga




2. Choose a construction ship which should build your station.
the construction ship of the federation is "fconst.odf" and is located at:
"...ActivisionStar Trek Armada IIodfships"

� Open fconst.odf with your Windows Texteditor (Notepad) or another Program like this.
Have a look for the text:

buildItem11 = "ftrading"
buildItem12 = "fupgrade"

� Write under this entry: buildItem13 = "fwxisbase"

|WARNING: If your ship has already a buildItem13 entry, choose another construction ship,
| because this one is full.
|°


� Save the file and close it.



3.1 Choose the directory: "...ActivisionStar Trek Armada IItechtree".
Open the file "fulltech.tt" with the Windows Texteditor and search "fbattle.odf 0".
Write under this entry:

fwxisbase.odf 0

� Save the file and close it.
3.2 Do not change the directory but open the file "tech1.tt" with the Texteditor.
Search the following Entry:

fedpod25.odf 1 fedpod15.odf // research pod (life support upgrade level 3)

� Write under this entry:

fwxisbase.odf 0

� Save the file and close it.



4.1 Choose the directory: "...ActivisionStar Trek Armada IISprites".
open the file "gui_global.spr" with the Windows Texteditor.
Have a look for the entry:

@reference=64

� Write under this entry:

b_fwxisbase fwxisbabb 0 0 64 64




� Search in the same file the entry:

� Save the file and close it.

4.2 Do not change the directory but open the file "weapon.spr" with the Texteditor.
Search the following entry:
