THE FILES CONTAINED WITH THIS ZIP FILE ARE IN NO WAY ENDORSED FOR RELEASE BY ACTIVISION, MADDOC SOFTWARE OR ANY PARTNER BODY WHICH ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THE STAR TREK ARMADA 2. INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
--------------------
You are advised in all circumstances to use the supplied WISE built executable file to install this replacement model/texture set for the Federation trading station. To do this simply follow these easy to use instructions:

1) Unzip the Fedtrade.EXE to a convenient location and double click the EXE file. You will be presented with the WISE Solutions logo, and then the main install screen.
2) You are advised to check your Armada 2 install directory, as the EXE is set up to install to the Armada 2 DEFAULT DIRECTORY. Failure to check this will result in the files being installed to the incorrect directory.
3) Once checked simply click the [NEXT] button and the installation should begin. It will take a matter of seconds.

.....and thats it for the easy installation. However, if you are a modder or with to install the files manually, I have taken the liberty to include all the files you\'ll need outside the EXE file. For that follow these instructions below:

1) Unzip the entire contents to a convenient location. There is a full folder structure built into the zip file.
2) Manually copy/paste the files from the zips folder structure to the corresponding folder within your Armada 2 installation. Remember to confirm overwritting of any files already in the Armada 2 folders.

(Modders can use these unzipped files as necessary)

UNINSTALLATION
--------------
CAUTION: Unless backed up the manual removal of the trading station model cannot be removed. The texture can safely be deleted.

Uninstallation of the WISE based EXE is as follows:
There are 2 ways to uninstall this minimod:

1) Enter your Armada 2 installation and locate the folder \"Trading Station\". Situated in this folder is an executable file and INSTALL.LOG file. Simply double click the EXE and follow the prompt to uninstall the mod.
2) Go to your Control Panel and select \"Add/Remove Programs\". Scroll down the list until you see the entry \"Federation Replacement Trading Station\". Double click this entry and then follow the onscreen prompts to remove the mod.

(Be Advised that in either case the WISE built EXE will have auto backed up the files it would normally replace, so uninstalling with the option to backup files enabled, will result in your Armada 2 installation being as it was before the mod was installed).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
----------------------
Finally whilst this model can directly replace the original one I\'ve also taken the libery to include 6 additional hardpoints. This is incase any modder wishes to arm the station. Simply copy this example below to give the station a single Sovereign class phaser. (be advised that no hardpoint map is being made available, as the time of release. One may be created at a later time).

// Phaser
weapon1 = \"fbphas\"
weaponHardpoints1 = \"hp10\" \"hp11\" \"hp12\" \"hp13\" \"hp14\" \"hp15\"

Nah. It'll never happen. I'm not THAT good. I leave that to other more willing patrons (such as Deemon, kleotol, TGO etc.etc) who are the real experts. I just use what I can from others. Sometimes it works, but alot of the time it doesn't.

Although this station has been made available on its own I'm also using it in my Borg: Incursion 2 project as well.

As for how I did my project. Well its quite a long story, but all I can say is it involves a hell of alot of work.
