This folder contains the Klingon scout and destroyer. After the large Klingon ships, I wanted to replace smaller crafts.
The stockmodels could do with a replacement. I tried to stay close to the original design and added some details.

I lost count of all the sites and images, I've studied. One website I'd like to mention:
"ex-astris-scientia.org/starship_database".
And above all, the people behind our own Armada 2 site.
Without their efforts, all this wouldn't be possible.

Important Note:
Make a backup of your existing files, because most files in this folder will overwrite the stock files!

Installation instructions

Open the SOD folder -->

Put the sod files into the sod folder of Armada II. When prompted to overwrite, click 'yes'.

Open the ODF folder -->

Put the odf file into the odf ship folder of Armada II. When prompted to overwrite, click 'yes'.

Open the Texturefolder -->
put the tga into the texture RGB folder of Armada II. When prompted to overwrite, click 'yes'.

( I include the MS3D files for those who are interested.)

Open the Bitmaps folder -->

Open the Bitmaps folder of Armada II --> open Admiralslog --> open ShipImages and put the images there. When prompted to overwrite, click 'yes'.

Open Sprites --> open gui_global

find the lines:

# Klingon wireframes
@reference=256

delete the following lines:

kscoutw1 klingwireframe03 0 0 48 48
kscoutw2 klingwireframe03 48 0 48 48
kscoutw3 klingwireframe03 96 0 48 48
kscoutw4 klingwireframe03 144 0 48 48
kscoutw5 klingwireframe03 192 0 48 48

and the lines:

kdestroyw1 klingwireframe02 0 0 48 48
kdestroyw2 klingwireframe02 48 0 48 48
kdestroyw3 klingwireframe02 96 0 48 48
kdestroyw4 klingwireframe02 144 0 48 48
kdestroyw5 klingwireframe02 192 0 48 48

then find:

# Klingon wireframes
@reference=128 (if not present, just add the reference)

add below that list:

kscoutw1 wfkscout 0 0 128 128

kdestroyw1 wfkdestroy 0 0 128 128

Awesome work as always Aad, good to see the Klingon fleet is starting to get completed. Now all you need is the Fek'Lhr and Suq to have the combat fleet complete. ;-)

perhaps someone here can tell me what did wrong, but when i saw this ship i instantly liked it so i put it in game. then when i build this ship or any of your other klingon ship retexture, reworks, or whatever they are. they are 2 times bigger that they used to be. :o :cry:
