Well, I'm not really sure what to honestly make of this. The model is that of the Bridge Commander Bird of Prey, however is in the "Attack" Stance, which usually resembles a B'rel over a K'vort. Though the model also looks nice, the poly count (bearing in mind that a BoP is usually built early in-game) is around 2700.

I've been assured that the poly count in ships within Dogs of War are going to be computer-friendly, yet, if this is anything to go by (and I hope it isn't) I don't see how "computer friendly" was the right set of words to use. Unless this is beta-like release, and is going to undergo a significant reduction where the poly count is concered, I fail to see how the DoW BoP's are going to be "friendly".

Nevertheless, the model is a nice one, and for those of you that can handle it, you may wish to download. I wouldn't reccomend downloading unless you have a fairly good computer though.

"saying that it won't work is a little redundant as it seems he is already at an advanced stage in his mod, certainly far enough to have tested this."

Where did I say it won't work? I said it'll cause lag and it's too much in the poly count for the class. Even if he has tested it on a hundred different computers, he hasn't tested it on mine--- and my opinion is based on my computer's ability to handle it. Next time I'll be more specific.

That ship looks very similar to the BoP in Star Trek Movie: The Final Frontier.

Hello:

You are right Tazuren, I haven't notce that until now. Well, Im really looking forward to play with the Dogs of War mod, specially for the models and the modified gameplay, I myself am in the quest to make A2 more canon in the matter of fleet sizes.

As for the ship, it is great, I hope it will be quite powerful, K'vorts are the big brothers of all Bird of Preys. I'm using the one from the Millenium Project (it has A1-like illuminations), and I made it the most powerful BoP to help the Klingons (human player and AI) to protect themselves while waiting the Vor'chas to come out from the Yards.

I really want to see the mod, but I really like your Romulan Shadow Class.

can't wait for dog's of war, from what u have discribed about it, the game play should be amazing, i can't stand mods that just change units and add more, u need to make allowences for the new types of units in game (like u are doing) :-)

once again man, Can't wait Rock

who cares if the poly count is large? I think if K7A wants to make the poly counts 5000 he can. He is doing a great job and if you guys want a mod that looks this good poly counts are going to be high. Great Job K7A!
