This is the TOS era Federation class dreadnought. This ship was kitbashed from the Constitution class made by FahreS.

Another fantastic bit of kitbashing from our resident expert, Pizza the Hutt.

Worth a look.

This is the Federation class dreadnought (TOS era) from the Ship Recognition Manual
by Franz Joseph Schnaubelt. The mesh is a kitbash of the TOS era Constitution by FahreS.

Copy the file TOSfed.sod into the SOD folder
Copy the .tga files into the Textures > RGB folder
Copy the file TOSfed.odf into the ODF > ships folder
Copy the file TOSfed.bmp into the Bitmaps > Admiralslog folder

Open the file fyard2.odf or fyard.odf (whichever shipyard you want the ship
To be built from) and insert the line: buildItemXX = "ffed" under
build Parameters below the last ship to be build
XX being the next unused number

Save that file

Open "tech 1" from the Techtree folder and insert this line:

TOSfed.odf 1 fyard2.odf // Federation class

Save this file, open "fulltech.tt" and insert the following line

ffed.odf 0

Then save and open "GUI_global.spr" from the sprites folder

Then add this line under federation build buttons:

b_TOSfed gbTOSfed 0 0 64 64

For the wire frame just add these lines into the gui global under wireframes

TOSfedw1 tosfedwire 40 0 40 40
TOSfedw2 tosfedwire 0 40 40 40
TOSfedw3 tosfedwire 40 40 40 40
TOSfedw4 tosfedwire 80 0 40 40
TOSfedw5 tosfedwire 0 0 40 40

Original Design: Franz Joseph's Technical Manual
Mesh parts and textures: FahreS
Kitbashing and Borg textures: Pizza the Hutt

Thank you for downloading this ship.

Have fun!!!

I am actually planning to make a Ptolemy and a few other Franz Joseph and FASA ships when I got some more time.
