Locutus's Cube from Armada 1
Its by the guy who created the Engine Overload for the Galor for Armada II.
He seems to want to remain anomymous, so who am I to argue

This zip file contains: borg.odf, blocutus.odf, hTechAssimBeam.odf (new weapon), this readme, and eb_named.odf, gvoloc01.wav, gvoloc06.wav, gvoloc07.wav, gvoloc08.wav, GVOLOC10.wav, GVOLOC11.wav, GVOLOC12.wav, GVOLOC13.wav, GVOLOC14.wav, GVOLOC15.wav, GVOLOC16.wav, GVOLOC17.wav, GVOLOC18.wav, gvoloc19.wav, gvoloc20.wav, gvoloc26.wav, gvoloc40.wav, gvoloc50.wav, gvoloc60.wav, events.dat

Installation instructions: Extract borg.odf to the other folder directory in the odf file, then extract blocutus.odf in the ships section inside the odf section, then extract hTechAssimBeam.odf to special_weapons, then insert this in gui_global: b_hTechAssimBeam gbTechAssimBm00 0 0 64 64 for the special weapon button,
blocutusw1 borgwireframe01 0 0 48 48
blocutusw2 borgwireframe01 48 0 48 48
blocutusw3 borgwireframe01 96 0 48 48
blocutusw4 borgwireframe01 144 0 48 48
blocutusw5 borgwireframe01 192 0 48 48
for the wireframe (should work), insert this in nospweap.tt:
hTechAssimBeam.odf 0 // technology assimilator for hero ship (locutus's cube)
then insert this in fulltech.tt: hTechAssimBeam.odf 0 then insert this in tech1:
hTechAssimBeam.odf 0 // technology assimilator for hero ship (locutus's cube)
Extract eb_named.odf in the other directory in the odf folder. Extract the gvolocXX.wav files in your sounds/voiceover/ingame section. Extract events.dat in your Star trek armada II directory

That should work!

Feel free to use it in anything if you give be credit.

I installed all the files and lines of code correctly and I got the "bug box" showing that there were no textures. I did notice this during installation but expected it to use standard cube textures. Please help!

the reason for the default 'bug box' to show up is that this mod is missing the sod files as well as the texture files. This mod would have been decent if the author had included the sod file. However even if this was done, and the cube turns out to be just another regular cube only scalesod to a bigger size, it still would have been a mediocre ship at best. As it is, I didn't even have to install this mod to see what was missing, about the only thing this release came with that would catch anyone's eye is voiceovers, sorry, but the best I can give this file is 4/10, and that's being pretty generous, next time I hope the author would give more than a five minute effort when they release their mods!!

I see I'm not the only one with this problem, has anyone been able to fix it?
