This Weapon is designed to allow gamers to recreate one of the more pivotal weapons used in The Next Generation episode Best of Both Worlds in an antimatter spread was used to aid the capture of Locutus from the borg cube. Although this weapons works slightly differently its inspiration came from the episode mentioned above, and it is designed to disable a random system onboard the targeted ship(s).


Place the ODF files into the special_weapons folder in the odf section
Place the TGA file in the RGB folder in the textures section
Place the WAV file in the effects folder in the sounds section
Place the following line in the 256x256 section of the weapon sprite file.
amspread antimatter 0 0 64 64 @anim=tex1x4
Place the following line in the weapons section of the gui_global file
b_s10antimatter bs01antimatter 0 0 64 64
Place the following line in the fulltech and tech1 files
s10antimatter 0
Place the following lines in the destination ships odf
weaponx = �s10antimatter�
weaponHardpointsx = �hpxx�
Where the x is replaced by a number

Well done with this mod General but there are several reference = 256 sections in the weapons sprite so could you be more specific. Besides that your instructions and work into this mod was well worth it. 8/10

I can't get it to work. It seems to go unrecognised as a weapon, although I have everything you said in the right place. Any assistance to offer?
