So you think you've done it all with A2. You've played more hours multiplayer and instant action in the years since A2's release than you can count. More like months of time you've spent, if you tied all those minutes and hours together, owning and blasting and getting your butt handed to you.

And maybe you've beaten the game once or twice, just to say you have. (Maybe you only SAY you have....)

The long-neglected Single Player campaign gets a much-needed boost from thunderfoot006 in this mod. This is only a taste of what's to come, but if your experience with it goes anything like mine, that taste in your mouth is gonna be your own blood. 'cause DAYUM is this gonna hurt!

Note: it'll only hurt if you leave your godships and super-mods at home. Try beating THIS puppy on stock. Go on, I dares ya. Unless you're truly the immortal of A2 playing that you SHOULD be if you've played without cheating (or, as Kirk put it, "changing the conditions of the test"), you're going to have a really fun time with this one.

(and by "fun", I mean in that "watching ST:V" kind of fun)

As I mentioned, this is just a teaser. It's the first Fed mission, but it's been given quite the do-over.

Enjoy this one. Can't wait for more from thunderfoot006 in his latest project.

Hello!, It's me - again. While I was working up the A2PhysPjct, I playtested the mod by continually grabbing an SP Campaign mission along with an IA game. Originally, I planned the SP Campaign redo as part of that project because the SP Missions are, well, let's just say they need some help. I had a series of PMs with Achilles about his ruthless AIPs and the ideas behind them. He graciously permitted me to use them. The more I looked into doing this as part of that mod, the more I realized the Sp Campaign needed more work. What you have before you is the first Federation mission. I decided to release this now to see what the community thought of the idea.

Potential Problems
This mod has been tested only within the SP Campaign. As always, I accept no responsibility for your 'puter or your game. This file was checked for viruses and completeness before upload. Gene Roddenberry, for giving us such a cool place to play.
Achilles, for feedback and good advice.
YOU, for D/L'ing this mod.

I struggle with the first Fed mission on stock if I'm honest, I don't wanna be making it any harder :P

the 1st mission is just annoying cause you have to kill the 2 bases with poor old akiras... takes a boring mass of it. and i think a better map ore more different ships would do better than one of achilles insane AIs.

Gosh! You're right! Why should I even bother to try to fix something that has been left broken for sooo very long. Doesn't matter that I was also thinking of modding the techtrees because I dislike being limited that way too. As far as Achilles insane AIPs they were just a starting point for ideas. There are some AIPs already in the stock that match up quite nicely with the stock buildlists. We wouldn't really want to challenge anyone's ability to win the game, now would we? I'm soo very glad we had this little talk. Now I can just drop the whole project and get on with more important things.

How in the world did this happen? File of the Week two weeks in a row? Surely there are people 'round here with better stuff than mine? Ameba. Apologies are in order. I should not have jumped on you like that. I am sorry. Your comment did not deserve for me to unload like that on you.

lol i read it just now and hey, you wont get me angy by being sarcastic:-) my comment soundet a bit harsh too but i just think especially the 1st mission has other flaws than a too weak AI. no hard feelings, man (remember your comment on acting reasonable :-) ??
