Qa'pla, warriors! Again, you honour my House! Awhiles back, I sent in a couple of weapons mods which replaced some of the Klingon ship's phasers with disruptors. It was a little odd to see some of the Klingons firing their signature weapon while others used phasers. So I decided to redo ALL of the Klingon ships to fire disruptors. This is not a new set of weapons, although it does include one. It is mostly an adjustment to the stock ships odfs. I've sent in the odfs my Klingon ships use with the new weapons mounted where the old ones were. These odfs also include things like self destruct and tractor beams. You may need to adjust the "ScaleSOD = X.X" to get the ships to fit into your game better. The disruptors were tweaked to fit A2PhysProj v1.1 a little more closely. This mod is intended to be used with elevatormusic's Random Textures mod installed, but it will work without it. As usual, I've also included a set of backup files in case your game crashes or you do not like this mod.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: If you have never modded this game before, right click on C:Activision and left click on Properties.
Left click on the 'Read Only' button near the bottom.
Next, left click on the 'Apply' button at the bottom of the Properties window. Another window will pop up at this point.
Left click on the 'Apply to this folder, all subfolders, and Files option.
Right click on C:ActivisionStar Trek Armada 2 and left click on Properties.
Left click on the 'Read Only' button near the bottom.
Next, left click on the 'Apply' button at the bottom of the Properties window. Another window will pop up at this point.
Left click on the 'Apply to this folder, all subfolders, and Files option.

TO INSTALL
Open the A Mod folder located herein.
Open the C:ActivisionStar Trek Armada2odfweaponspulse folder.
Open the odfweaponspulse folder located inside the A Mod folder located herein.
Place all the files in the odfweaponspulse folder found here into the C:ActivisionStar Trek Armada2odfweaponspulse folder.
If prompted to overwrite, click on 'yes'.

Open the C:ActivisionStar Trek Armada2odfships folder.
Open the odfweaponspulse folder located inside the A Mod folder located herein.
Place all the files in the odfships folder located herein into the C:ActivisionStar Trek Armada2odfships folder.
If prompted to overwrite, click on 'yes'.

That's it! You are done adding the mod!

Place all the files in the odfweaponspulse folder found here into the C:ActivisionStar Trek Armada2odfweaponspulse folder.
If prompted to overwrite, click on 'yes'.

Open the C:ActivisionStar Trek Armada2odfships folder.
Open the odfweaponspulse folder located inside the Backups folder located herein.
Place all the files in the odfships folder located herein into the C:ActivisionStar Trek Armada2odfships folder.
If prompted to overwrite, click on 'yes'.

This will return all of your Klingon ships to the stock versions.

POTENTIAL PROBLEMS
This mod has been tested only within the SP Campaign and Instant Action vs. the computer. I do not know if it will work in online Multiplayer. As always, I accept no responsibility for your computer or your game. I am not responsible for any type of damage to your 'puter from misuse of this mod. This file was checked for viruses and completeness before upload. If it does not't work right the first time, please go back and read the directions. Then, install the mod again AFTER you read the directions.

If you want to use elevatomusic's random texture mod or Tycoon's SSA Apocalypse - Klingon mod, you will have to get permission from them. I have them installed and like them alot. As to this weapon mod, you may use it any way you see fit in anything you might be making. Permission for the weapon mod only is granted prior to you asking me. You Do Not have to give me credit for the Vor'Cha Disruptor mod if you use it somewhere else. You can even pretend it is all your own work. We will always know the truth, won't we?

I'm down with this mod. It will be a nice change. I just hope the phasers were left on the Nehg'var to keep it cannon.

Hello:

Well, if the Negh'var and Vor'cha don't have their phasers we can still add them, but I agree that the Klingons rely on their disruptor cannons to engage an enemy during a combat, a lesson we know the Federation learned when they developed the Defiant class. Great mod, I look forward for your next mod, who knows, maybe some canon (and deadly) plasma torpedoes for the Romulans? :D

You named Martok Negh'var the wrong name, its not IKS Honors Burden if you have read Star Trek Destiny Book III Lost Souls, the real name of Martok's Negh'var is IKS Sword of Kahless, it depends what people like better but to be canon or closer to it, this is the right name.
