A simple modification of the orbit time of an orbital station, this replaces the orbital.odf file in your odf/stations folder.

MOD: Quick Orbital Processing Facilitys

Creator: Mislav

email: mislav.mijatovic@zg.htnet.hr

Date: 30.3.2005.

I made this mod 'cause nobody made it before me

Explanation: This mod allows all your orbital facilitys to make a single circle around a planet
in one(1) second. Enemys will have problems with destroying it and you will have time to send
ships to defend it. If you want to destroy an enemy facility, all you need is to put ships around
the planet and you will destroyed it soon.

Installation instructions:

Copy "orbital" file
Open: My Computer, Local disc C:, Program Files, Activision, odf.
Paste the "orbital" file in the station folder.
Say yes to replace the file.
You may make a backup of the original file, if you want.

This file is not supported by Activision by any way.
if you want you can use it in you mod without even asking me.

Credits all go to-Mislav

Any modder will see that I changed in this file just on number, but the change if big.

So the enemy will have problems destroying it, for if the enemy has it, just place ships around the planet....

I suppose you mean the enemy AI, right?

It makes the station go faster around the planet. I think because of the fact that planets block any weapons fire from reaching the other side, and the fact that this makes the orbital station go faster around it, the enemy might only get 1 or 2 shots at the station before it's already on the other side of the planet. So it seems to go for the AI as well as any human player.

Instead of replacing the entire orbital.odf (if you have it modded already), you can change:

// How long to complete one orbit

orbitTime = 120

This is in seconds. Lower number = faster.

Great idea!
