Here we have a small ODF mod which renames the Federation bases in Armada 2 the same way the bases are denoted in SFC3. Basically the starbase 375-type starbase (the common Federation base) is now called the "Federation Battlestation". The starbase 12-type base, the Starfleet Headquarters, is now called the "Federation Starbase" and a third lower valued base (copy of the 375-type) called the "Federation Base Station". Other inclusions are an "advanced construction ship" which is fundamentally a better construction ship.

As I was bored, I made the 3 Starbase Type Stations from SFC3 (using the 2 stock Starbases).
There is also a Construction Ship (stock model) to construct them.

As mentioned before, I have included a file called 'fed_global_ship_civ.list' with this MOD. It came from the Star Trek Armada 2 Fleet Operations MOD, but I have altered it slightly (instead of names looking like 'USS Sovereign' they now appear as 'S.S. Sovereign, the names used by Civilian Vessels). The other is 'fed_global_base.list' (e.g. the names used begin with Starbase, Deep Space or Outpost).

The Construction Ship can also build Mining Stations and Orbital Stations. This is useful if one of these is you only surviving ship and you don't have enough supplies to make a new Starbase.

Hello:

More bases means more fun. Maybe there is no a great full scale mod, but it is quite original and helpful since by having additional bases, you can protect (for example) mining stations from sneak attacks. Well done :-)
