Introduction:
-------------
This is a pack of 4 Armada SP maps that have been recreated for A2.
No cinematics or fancy objectives, but the maps and core gameplay are there.

Installation:
-------------
Put the contents of the bzn folder into your Armada 2 bzn folder, normerly located in
C/Program Files/Activision/Star Trek Armada 2
Then create a copy of the A2 icon on your desktop, or whatever, and change its properties,
so it looks like this:

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\Armada2.exe" / premonitions.bzn

or this

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\Armada2.exe" / paradise.bzn

could be this,

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\Armada2.exe" / vendetta.bzn

and if you want, this:

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\Armada2.exe" / dark_omens.bzn

Then play each level one at a time by double clicking on the icon, or you make loads of icons.
Your choice.

Background:
-----------
I always liked Armada. (And I think it should have more coverage on A2files.com) I thought that
the storyline was far better than A2's which was a simple take on A1's final four levels.
But, I was also disapointed by A1's ships and stations, (but I like the A1 Borg Stations better
than their A2 counterparts.) inthat, there were few of them. Therefore, I decided to make
the best of both worlds, and create the A1 story and levels on the A2 game. This mod has no
cinematics or objectives, but I think that the core of the story and maps are here.
However, I did belive that some elements should be changed. For example, in the first
Federation level of A1, renegade Dominion ships attack the Enterprise, which is almost
impossible, because Vorta and Jem'Hadda are bred to worship the founders, who signed the
treaty. So, they would be breaking their god's orders by refusing to accept the peace.
Therefore, I replaced the Dominion ships with Cardassian ships (mainly because I had no
Dominion ship models) because Cardassians would be more likely to carry hate towards the
Federation after the war.
Also, small elements in the maps were changed, to make them more Trek like,
but I'm sure you won't mind.

Tactics:
--------
In the map "Vendetta", you must escape Toral's forces and make your way to Qo'nos.
There are many derelict ships in this level, that you seriously need to salvage, before
the Ferengi do. I have recreated the map completely, so if you remember where those ships
were, they will definatly be there. Even the names will be the same. I have replaced

Legal:
------
I don't mind if you use these maps in your own mod.
Just tell me what you're up to via the file comments section.

What else?
----------
This map pack contains Armada 1's Federation Campaign games.
Following packs will contain Klingon, Romulan, Borg, and (as my friend likes to call them,)
The Omega missions. This pack also contains text logs of the missions you can play. Enjoy!

That sounds like something is wrong with your computer. If that happens, I recomend that you don't try and use the mod. Sorry. No other advice.

This is just for those who don't have A1, or want an improved version of those levels.

Go and buy A1 if you don't already have it.

End Transmission.

I think that it has something to do with the newer versions of DirectX not being compatable with A1, though I have no honest idea.
