Blank fonts and pause dialog
People have been wondering about how I produce my action shots for quite a while, so I think its about time I spill the beans.
By erasing the "pause" menu and the font that controls text ingame you can then pause the game in the middle of a fight and position the camera for a nice picture with all the time in the world. Its incredibly simple, but like most things I have done its been overlooked by many people for the past five years.
As so long as you remember to do a backup of the text and replace it before you go back to playing online your fine. I can remember one time when I forgot to do this and I couldn't read anything my team was trying to send to me which made for quite an interesting game. (it was a 4v4 and we still won it despite the obvious communication problems)
There is a backup of the old files included so you don't get stuck without them.
Have fun.

1 - Installation
Copy the contents of the "Blank" folder into the textures/RGB folder and launch A2. All text and numbers will be missing which may make it hard to build a base and play normally so I suggest building up first and then saving. You can then press "PAUSE" and you will have a black screen which will let you take stunning action pictures with very little effort as you can position the camera as you like.
The original Fonts are provided so you can restore A2 back to normal.
2 - System Requirements
Armada II
Thats it. (actually, Armada II is not required, but it helps if you plan on using this in conjunction with A2)
3 - Online Multiplayer
This won't mess up your compatibility with 1.1 for online play but you would have to be an utter fool to play like this.
4 - Known Issues
Its hard to play without having any writing ingame.

Hopefully this will let people develop some really good pictures, because if I can do this well with the stock ships then other people should be able to do a lot better with their million poly masterpeices.
And thanks Jolt
