Introducing another Stargate release from CDP from the recently stalled Stargate Project Mod. This is the ancient's satellite from Stargate Atlantis, the one protecting the Lantean system from the Wraith. The model is excellently detailed, and the textures are very good; downside is it doesn't have any of the finish addons like ODF files, admiral pic, ship icon button..etc but if you treat it as a blank canvas you can do wonders with it.

Personally if you want to get more skill and experience with modelling - an ungrouped ms3d model such as this is the perfect chance to mess around with, you could even make a fully fledged mod from it.

This is the stargate atlantis Ancient Sattalite model ungrouped and in format ms3d.

Im giving free use of this model and texture to everyone to do what every they want with it. Edit, manipulate re-release. All i ask is i get the credit for the original work.

Great model!, should be easy enough to make it a full game unit. I was kind of hoping this would be released :-)

no odfs huh ..well i suppose ill have to make my own, a modified ori pulse should do nicely as the main weapon

It's released in an "As-Is" state. you get the ungrouped model and textures, if you wish to mod it into a fully playable vessel then you'll have to do some bit of work to it :-)

I’ll see about putting together a pack with ready to use models in and release that, it’s just extremely difficult to find the time at the moment.

No problem, at least we're getting some of the models from the SGP. One model is always liked was the Ancient fighter (looked a little like a puddle jumper) and the dreadnought I believe was called the Cassiopeia. I hope that the mod will start up again at some point.
