This shipyard is a port from BC, originally done by Deemon and converted (in this case) by CanadianBorg.

It looks pretty good in game, and the poly count isn't that far out from where you'd want it to be for a shipyard.

Make sure you update your build lists in the shipyard's .ODF file if you're not using stock Cardassian ships.

Worth a look.

This shipyard is converted from a model available on BCFiles. I was unable to contact Deemon prior to release due to there being no contact information in the readme.


Open the archive file and extract the folder "A3 Leftovers" somewhere outside your A2 directory.

Copy all the folders inside the folder "Cardassian Shipyard" to your root A2 directory. If it asks to overwrite, say yes.

Now open gui_global.spr and delete the following entries:

cyardw1 cardwireframe05 0 0 48 48
cyardw2 cardwireframe05 48 0 48 48
cyardw3 cardwireframe05 96 0 48 48
cyardw4 cardwireframe05 144 0 48 48
cyardw5 cardwireframe05 192 0 48 48

People who have already added new ships to their Cardassian yard: Make sure to copy your build list before you replace the stock Cardassian yard, as this one is set to build the stock ships.

That's it! You're ready to use the Cardassian Shipyard in your game! I will be releasing more A3 leftovers by the way, so stay tuned!
