I must say this is an outstanding Cardassian Starbase, but just like SupaStarAsh, I can get this beauty to work. I have installed every file in the proper folders and no results, I can only see the station in the Storm3d viewer. Hopefully you can fix this, because even now ( more than a year since the last comment ) there are many people interested in your mod.
Than ks for your time.
Checking the ODF, I figured out what's wrong with this beauty. There is some missing lines in the odf file. So, open cbase2.odf and go down to add:
//**********************************************************************
//PROGRAMMING PARAMETERS WHICH SHOULD NOT BE CHANGED & UNUSED PARAMETERS
//Runtime class label for instantiation of object.
classLabel = "starbase"
//**********************************************************************
Even so, the station will not attck when you want ( will attack only when the enemy is near ), so add:
alert = 1
combat = 1
in the end of the odf just above the scaleSod parameter. And that's it!!. Hopefully this help.
as far as getting this one to work, I did the same thing to the odf file and I also renamed the odf and sod to replace the original Card. base.
I was thinking the same. Since I'm not very fond to the idea of replacing the stock models, I do have replaced some of them to test ingame, like the Fed and Rom bases, I may do the same with the cardie base as well.
