Now... I really don't know what to make of this. I can't seem to grasp what it is, though it does say in the ReadMe that it is from an older game. I guess (because of the lack of knowledge for me in this) I'll let you discuss it. Smile

WHATS A ZIG
This is a ship from the old game Zero Wing, which recived most of it's polularity from the ALL YOUR BASE fad, which got me
thinking hey, wouldn't it be a funny ship to do for my first mod so once once you've installed it
This is what the craze was all about:

In A.D. 2101
War was beginning.
Captain: What happen?
Mechanic: Somebody set up us the bomb.
Operator: We get signal.
Captain: What!
Operator: Main screen turn on.
Captain: It's you!!
CATS: How are you gentlemen!!
CATS: All your base are belong to us.
CATS: You are on the way to destruction.
Captain: What you say!!
CATS: You have no chance to survive make your time.
CATS: HA HA HA HA....
Operator: Captain!
Captain: Take off every 'ZIG'!!
Captain: You know what you doing.
Captain: Move 'ZIG'.
Captain: For great justice.

INSTALLATION

1. Copy the folders into the Armada 2 folder

2. Open your gui_global.spr in the misc folder and scroll down to where is says

# Federation buildbuttons
@reference=64

copy this right below the @reference=64 line

b_zig gbzig 0 0 64 64

3. Open tech1.tt and tech1.tt in the techtrees folder and add to each file

zig.odf 0

4. Next open a shipyard file and add

buildItemX = "zig"
where X is the next available number

5. Open the Weapon file in Sprites and ad the line under # Federation phaser:

# Zig phaser
zigphaser zigphaser 0 0 128 32 @anim=tex1x4

Hello:

Here I'm a bit of lost, I don't know where this exactly come from, but I do know is from one of the cool old games (games I still play :-)

). This ships looks like Fighters, small ships that can be mass produce and have debilitating weapons. I really like that phaser's sprite.

rofl. This is abso-freakin'-lutely awesome! Gets me to thinking about all those great old 386 and 486 games I used to play with an analogue joystick. Wing Commander was a ripoff of X-Wing that turned out to be a far better game.
