Tycoon's new Son'a battleship looks pretty nice. No build buttons, wireframe, admiral's log pic, techtree entries, sprite allocations, or new weapons to go with the ship. But it looks nice. Poly count's not bad considering this is a battleship, either.

Maybe a hardpoint map would be nice if we're only going to release the basics in future? At least that way it's easier to mod in with no problems.

Original Model Concept: John Eaves / Blue Sky/VIFX

Oriignal Mesh Creation: Dark Razer (minor) and
Original Mesh Textures: damocelesX (BCFiles)

Conversion of Mesh: Tycoon (this would be me)
- converted from .NIF to .SOD
- kitbahsed (two versions of the ship, to create this one as a whole)

Texture Modifications: Tycoon (this would be me)
- reduced texture sets (combined original texture sets for A2 friendly use)
- remapped textures to model
- reworked lightmaps

Authors Notes:
--------------------

* The poly count for this model stands at 2558.
* There are three 512x512 texture sets for use with this model.

* Users of this file / ship will have to add it into the game themselves.
* This file is without the game essentials. Build Buttons, Wireframes, Admirals Log Image are not included.
* sprites and tech tree allocations have not been done either. Users will have to complete this themselves.

* Ask if you'd like to use this in a project. I'd rather people not assume they can do as they please.

Nice model and textures, I will definatly use this to replace the one I have in my game :-)

Even though I've left out the build button, wireframe, admiral's log pic, techtree entries, sprite allocations and new weapons, there was no need for me to add in a hp map.


I have hardpointed the model, and have filled in the hardpoint section of the .odf file. It is just the remainder of the file (general stats and scaling) that need to be input / altered.
