Andorian Warship Andorian Warship

As a proud 'pinkskin', let me be honest about one thing to do with this mod:

Andorians are boorish, aggressive, and highly irrational. So to give them such a potent vessel in A2 is surely not going to contribute anything positive to the universe, now is it?

(Not that we play A2 to contribute anything but phaser energy and torpedoes!)

This is, quite possibly, one of the finest ships I've seen --and one of those I've long awaited! The long-neglected Andorian warship (seen in Enterprise, the most prominent of which was Shran's flagship, the Kumari) is here, and fine enough to do the Imperial Guard PROUD! With permission, dan1025 turned one of Atolm's works from SFC into this masterpiece of Andorian design. It's enough to make you wonder why we don't see MORE of this species on the decks of Starfleet vessels. But then, with ships this nice, why waste your energies designing EXPLORER vessels?

Best of all, it's (almost!) the complete package-- it comes with a build button, Admiral's Log pic, its own weapons, and truly awesome Borg textures. The only fault is a lack in wireframe. But that can come later!

Please note that the updated readme is listed below-- dan1025 sent it in this evening. I've had this ship in my mod for a little longer than that, and DAYUM does it ever look the part.

So what are you waiting for? Go get those pinkskins! Or whoever else you want! This ship's ready to roll. Definitely worth a download!

Cool

Legal Notes/Thanks:

Thanks to Atolm for allowing me to re-release his model and textures.
Thanks again to Michael Kelley, as I used an edited version of my Galaxy Deflector Beam texture for the Andorian phaser and that texture was originally his work. :)
Thanks to "Scorpians" altered SFC stock sphere mod for the great Borg texture.

A big thanks to Activision for releasing this game and giving us all something fun to mod and improve upon :)

If you want to use this mod for something you plan to release, you may need to contact Atolm, as it is his model and texture. For more details on this you can always e-mail me

Hope you enjoy the mod! :)

Yeah I still havn't got the hang of wireframes, at the moment my texturing skill is limited to things like the weapon and assimilation textures found in this mod.

Thanks for the good review :-)

This is very very good! I like it very much. The Andorians are one of the founding races of the Federation and we never hardly see them at all. Thank you, Dan for making such a fine ship.

P.S. The wireframe isn't all that hard as long as you don't let me do it. :P

Whilst I doubt I'll be downloading this, as I have no need for an ENT-era ship, I am giving this 10/10. ;-)

Thanks for the kind comments everyone, Tycoon I balanced the ship against the stock frigate type ships and wrote the ODF tooltips to reflect it as being an updated 24th century version of the 22nd century design :-)
