For a while now, FahreS has been putting together mods that have simply blown the minds of many a modder. This time, he's taken a step back from his spectacular original-series era stuff to bring us a USS Voyager hero ship that's simply spectacular. The quality of this model is as good, if not better, than any Intrepid we've yet seen-- but best of all, FahreS has included the warp-capable model of this ship with a fusion script that allows Voyager's warp nacelles to realign themselves in keeping with the original Intrepid model's design. That's something we've never really seen done quite this well before.

This mod comes complete with the fusion scripts, the admiral's log pic, the buildbutton and wireframe, and specialized photons and phasers as well. Note that you can't use this to replace your stock Intrepid-- all the build names are USS Voyager because of how the re-aligning of warp engines relies upon fusion scripts. Nothing to be done about that. In theory, you could also modify this ship to launch the Delta Flyer or shuttles, use tricobalt devices or re-create the entire trip home across the Delta Quadrant. Nice quality Borg textures make alternate endings a distinct possibility, of course. But this model of the Intrepid class leaves nothing to be desired. It's that good. And it leaves us wondering where FahreS will apply his considerable modelling talents next. (If I could put a request in, I'd love to see his take on the Excelsior.)

2. Choose a shipyard which should build the Voyager.
The advanced shipyard of the federation is fyard2.odf and is located here:
"...ActivisionStar Trek Armada IIodfstations"

-Open fyard2.odf with your Windows Texteditor (Notepad) or another Program like this.
Have a look for the text:

buildItem2 = "fspecial"
buildItem3 = "fbattle"

-Write under this entry: buildItem4 = "fwvoyint"


-Save the file and close it.

3. Choose the directory: "...ActivisionStar Trek Armada IItechtree".
Open the file "fulltech.tt" with the Windows Texteditor and search "fbattle.odf 0".
-Write under this entry:

-Save the file and close it.

Ahh, I just realised actually, the version of the intrepid we made was meant to be a less excessively poly alternative to the p81 one, this version has 6000 polys....

yeah, a beauty but heavy on the poly side, and whilest i like the borg textures this time, i remember one scene with some heavier modifications. but outstanding, as always.

I just put it in my game, and it looks majestic! The nacelle fusion is flawless, and the ship moves with purpose!
