Sovereign Class Pack Sovereign Class Pack

In any community, there are names which people know, and use with a certain reverence, out of appreciation for their skill. Not only does treating these people with respect usually determine that you belong to the community, but when you release a mod, you WANT your stuff to be compared favourably to theirs. It's a badge of honour for A2 modders to hear, "that model looks almost as good as Major Payne's" or "I'm used to seeing stuff this good out of Achilles" or "Man, those textures are Jetfreak-level quality."

The reason for that last one used in conversation can be seen clearly, abundantly, in this mod. Jet's taken a MaP version of Hawkeye's model of the Sovereign class starship, and kitted out its texture with such detail as can scarcely be imagined. Jet's done Sovereign retextures before. This one is arguably the DEFINITIVE A2 model of the definitive Starfleet starship of the post-Nemesis era. And the textures are the difference maker.

Jet has been tweaking and working on this one for a long time. He refers to it in the readme as his "final" version of the Sov, and it's easy to see why. At this level of pure win, it's hard to imagine outdoing oneself.

There are no less than FOUR different versions available: a standard Sov, a War Sovereign, a hero model for Captain Picard, and an imperial USS Enterprise-E, among other little bonuses I won't describe here.

Not only is this a truly fantastic piece of work, it plays very well, too. I took out a formation of twelve of them up against a Romulan adversary earlier today. They're graceful and lethal all at once.

You simply MUST download this.

Cool

Sovereign Class Pack

- Apparently, Major Payne converted and rebulit the Hawkeye's wonderful Sovereign mesh a few years back for Borg Incursion: Vital Responses. I then took up the job to revamp and retexture the ship. The end result looked superb so it was time for a release. The new ship has less pollies than the Rick Knox Sovereign Class and the hull is brighter compared to Admirals Sovereign.

Features and Updates:
- Finalized revision of the textures and complete overhaul of hardpoints.
- Includes Production Sovereign with no registry
- Hero Picard unit is included, complete with custom registries.
- Also includes an alternate War Sovereign.
- Terran Empire Enterprise E now added.
- Several Bonus Content Added.

- Buildbuttons and Admirals Log Pictures have been included.

- The ship has been balanced to stock A2.

The Sovereign Class:

Introduced: Late 2370s
Ship type: Explorer
Length: 685m.
Major Conflits fought: The Battle of Sector 001 (2373) and the Dominion War (2374-2375)

Introduced in the late 2370s to supplement the Galaxy Class, the Sovereign Class is the Federations most advanced
starship to date. She is equipped with powerful shields, cutting edge weaponry, and advanced technology that allow
it to defend the Federation and her allies from threats of any kind. Unique and above all, the Sovereign represents
a new standard for future Federation starship designs.

Notable Ships:
USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E - Current Federation Flagship, the sixth starship to bear the prestigous name.
USS Sovereign NCC-73811 - Class pathfinder and had an important role in solving the Maelstrom Incident.
ISS Enterprise NCC-1701-E - Terran Empire flagship. Operated by Regent Picard and his forces.

Yes, and thank you, It certainly took a lot of effort trying to match what was seen on screen. And I'm glad you appreciate them.
