Intrepid Class/USS Voyager
To put it nicely, this is the ONLY Intrepid class starship you will EVER need to download. Dan1025 takes his level of previous submitted work on this ship and just blows it away with this improvement.
This includes both a generic Intrepid, and a USS Voyager hero ship. And they're both equally magnificent, one as a hero ship, the other as a regular part of any A2 build.
There's a reason this review isn't longer: it's just that nice to see work this high-quality available for A2. Download this right now. Don't just read about it, see it for yourself.
Some time ago I released a pack of alternate textures for Rick Knox (pneumonic81)'s Intrepid Class. That was quite a while ago, and I've gotten much better with Photoshop since then, so I thought I'd have another go at it
This time I've gotten the ship much closer to what we saw in Voyager, and I've also rehardpointed p81's original model and fixed several smoothing errors which detracted from its brilliant quality. Basically this is as close to a canon looking Intrepid Class as I could get without actually remodelling and texturing from scratch.
This will act as a replacement for your Intrepid Class (fcruise3). Because this is a replacement for a stock model I havn't included a new wireframe, however I have replaced the admirals log image and buildbutton. There are also alternate textures without the Voyager registry (blank ones) which can be used for mass production of these ships, as well as an LCARS (federation computer) style buildbutton.
Included in this mod are:
SOD file
Ship textures (With or without Voyager registry)
Ship ODF
AdmiralsLog picture
Buildbutton
Alternate (LCARS) Buildbutton

Installation Instructions:
1. Place "fcruise3.sod" into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/SOD folder.
2. Place all files found in the Textures folder into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/Textures/RGB folder (depending on which version of the textures you want to use, you'll either want the ones in the Textures folder, or the No Registry folder.
3. Place "fcruise3.odf" into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/odf/ships folder.
4. Place the "fcruise3.bmp" file found in the ShipImages folder into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/bitmaps/AdmiralsLog/ShipImages folder.
(Ensuring you click "Yes" when the computer asks if you'd like to replace the older files).

I'll think about releasing the planets, but the credit issues would take ages to sort out since I've got some 35+ different planet/moon textures from loads of sources.
As for the poly counts, they're in the same range as the Midnight Universe ones, they cause no lag for me and I've had loads of them onscreen, even with the high res textures they're not an issue.
