Here we have a refit of the Galaxy class Starship; After looking over the readme, and viewing the screenshots, I look forward to seeing it in action!

Here is the Galaxy-3 Refit that many of you may have wanted to see in A2.
It may not resemble the one in USS Miranda database, but this is my vision it.

There are a few neat weapons included with this mini-mod. Some of them are experimental and will appear in STA2.5, but may exibit a few bugs.
This unfortunately is unavoidable with the new weapons. I may be able to make the bugs less noticable in the future.

The Screenshots from MS3D don't give enough credit to the majesty of this ship.
Try viewing it in Storm3D or A2 and you'll see what I mean.
The lights are really something else and look excellent in a dark area such as the 2 player map included with the STA2.5 Mission_01 addon.

This ship has been changed much in order to fit better into a standard Armada2 game. The weapons have not been modified from the ones intended for STA2.5, which means they could do too much damage if unedited.

Installation is simple, just move all files into the corresponding folders in your Armada2 directory.
There is no buildbutton or wireframe, seeing as I put all the final pieces together in one night and couldn't find enough time.
You will also need to edit your tech1.tt file and add the following line:

fgalaxy3 0 // Galaxy-3 Refit

Hmm it looks like a very possible design. Very good. The only problem I have with it is the nacelles they're not detailed enough. They look kinda like they're colored with crayons, and I think they should be 1/4 skinnier than they are. Everything else including the texture design looks really good. I know you're trying to stick to the galaxy's dimensions on the nacelles, but thin'em up a bit and it'll look sleeker and more impressive. They just look a little to big and under-detailed to me. A better texture might fix both problems. A little touch up goes a long ways.

Thanks for an excellent model

What models have you made so far DS?

Well, I can remember making this, the Atlas Class, the Constitution V, and a rework of Op's Titan . I think that's it, but I won't release any of those without a little more refinement.

I had planned for a follow up on this ship, but for some reason I never got around to it.
