Crusader class Crusader class

This ship is a modified Sovereign class design that's called the Crusader class. Aad Moerman has done a really nice job with the modifications to the original, but it still remains basically true to the Sovereign design. Some might say too true to the original, but I think it stands apart just fine. Your mileage may vary.

New ships from Aad are quality mods every time. This is no exception.

Cool

Crusader class by Aad Moerman

This folder contains 2 ships of the same model. I recreated the Sovereign class, changing her profile slightly. The secondary hull is a bit larger, which I like more
If you like her as well, then use the fbattle-file.
In case you like to use the ship, but don't want it replace the original, then use the fcrus-file.
I increased shieldstrength and the number of hitpoints, to make the ship more in balance with enemy battleships.

Make a backup of your existing files, just in case.

As allways, thanks to Wrath of Achilles for his Texture Tutorial and Major A Payne for his SodTutorial.

All meshes, textures, etc are by me.

Shipnames: captmaxwell

Please note:
I cannot be hold responsible for any damage or problems otherwise regarding this model.

You may use this ship in your mod, just give credit where its do.

Enjoy!!

"When Starfleet Command needed a successor for the Galaxy Class, several designs were developed. The choice was
made for the Sovereign Class. Another design that finally came into construction, became the Crusader Class. Although not
as widely used as the Sovereign Class, the ships of this class performed very satisfactorily.
Only 8 units were build."

I like it. It looks a bit like the Sovereign from nemesis.
#2 rikkardnovacat 2008-10-29 21:16
there are very minor changes from the sovereign. i think, mainly on the nacels

I quite like it, it's... different. Maybe a good candidate for a hero ship, an experimental vessel somewhere along the lines of the USS Sentinal.

Very nice. I will add this to the library of Fed ships I have.

It does look a little different than the Sovereign. It looks good though as usual with Add's work. 10/10
