The Zues Class-Prometheus Varient. This ship is equipt with Mini Heavy quantums, an advanced Transphasic launcher, heavy phaser conduits around the ship, ablative shielding and double deflector arrays.


Hey people, this is my third ship and boy, i think its probably my best anyway

On the lowdown i forgot to add texture creds to mapayne so thank him cas he
inspired me to start

ok then

to install

Copy odf's into odf's
odf-ships
odf-weapons-photons

Copy Textures into Textures-Rgb

And copy Sod into SOD

once youve done that you just need to update files, tech1.tt and fulltech.tt

So go into Tech1.tt and scroll to the bottom of the federation ships list
and add

fpromvar.odf 2 fyard2.odf fresear2.odf

Remember this is the prometheuses varient so it will run on the same tech

After youve done that then save the folder and go to

fulltech.tt, scroll to the bottom of that list and this time add

fpromvar.odf 0

after that save and exit, next lets add the build button and partial wireframe

Go into gui_global,spr in the sprites folder and scroll to the very bottom

and these following lines

then you are done with the loading items now its time to get the ship running

Go into odf-station-fyard2

Add to your list

buildItem? = "fpromvar"
?= the build number, if you have a fresh install then add

buildItem4 = "fpromvar"
and exit and save,

there you have it

this is my prometheus varient,

it has 1500 odd triangles so it shouldnt lag too.... much

anyway

Ship Textures = Mine 3 odd hours
Weapon Textures = Myself stfcbc
Build Textures = Me
Build Time = around 9-10 hours

so then there it is, its a nice ship so TREAT HER WILL

The shape is intriging but it need's work:


1) A design called the "Posiedon" has done something very simlar to what you have made. Nevertheless, this is a good attempt.

2) The textures need a bit of a clean up - get them to fit in with each other.


See if you can have another go, trying to clean it up/refining it a little.

agree with 1# but all in all not a bad attempt i'd suggest making it a little fatter, that will give the ship some depth and presents about it :D

Sorry, but this I really dislike... Too flat and just.. I don't know, wrong!? The idea is there, however I feel this needs a little more work!

I think it needs refining really, it is a good design but needs work to neaten it.

itl be out when i finnish my 1st mod, it adds 1 race and tons of ships, the race name is valliant
