This is not a "Steamrunner Class" per say, but a conjunction of galaxy parts in the basic configuration of a steamrunner class. It is a mutlipurpose ship. The thing I did not like was the deflector pod. The texturing job on it could have been better. There's always room for improvment, right?


THIS IS THE STEAMRUNNER CLASS 2

the origional steamruinner wasnt bad, but i was boared.
this is a multipurpose vessel, designed to fend for itself in a dogfight.

the textures dont match and are stretched, it's a nice design though and very smooth model, I wonder if the poly count is very high?

Interesting design Cancellor Christian, but what are you going to do when you come to the Galaxy class? Make it out of Sovereign parts? Here's a list of ships I would love to see done (by anyone):

the only completly finished ship is the akira class2v1.5. and i used the galaxy looking parts cuz i wanted a more "federation" look for the ships. something that looks a little less limited in its abilities. im releaseing the intrepid class 2 versions 1 2 and 3 in a few days, watch out for it. all origional stuff. no parts from other ships. but as for the steamrunner, im just doing some tweaking , the final version is almost finished. and i dunno if im gonna redo the galaxy, i have no idea what id do for it cuz i love the origional so much i dont think ill change it. right now im using DAWN's galaxy, its a great ship, i use it often. i gave it a quad spread like on tv. the galazy rules. but aside from the galaxy, i have plans to redo the entire fleet. this will take a while cuz im making textures instead of being lazy. 1 ship a week maybe

most of your requested ships have already been made man. and made well. stuff like the excalibur was made awsomely by...i forget but it was awsome. ...and nice joke about the soverign parts galaxy, check his link and youll see a picture of it.. somebody already made it. ...but i might give the pathfinder a shot. looks like a challange.

Most of those ships have been done? What do you mean? Where? Oh, and as ODFs are my specialty, if you want, I'll gladly cook one up for the Pathfinder. It is by far my favourite vessel as it has Ablative Armor Generators (Voyager-style), MVAM (Prometheus-style), and an incredible array of other weaponry too. My other favourites are the Galaxy 3-especially its Deflector Dish-, the Midway, the Jupiter, and the Excalibur 2.
