Wrath of Achilles, 2004-08-31

Well, it looks like Achilles has done another great Cardassian ship. This batch of ships has really raised the bar for Cardassian modding, in my opinion, and seeing as Achilles likes to break the standards, he really exceles in one of the best known Cardassian shps. This is a great cannon ship, and I have not seen it done better. I have not seen this done any better, and I reccomend a download. Now. Stop reading, just download it.


Cardassian Galor by Wrath of Achilles

This is the Cardassian main Battleship. I have made the mod to over write
the existing model and files so it build this in place of the old version.
I replaced the phaser with two slower phaser, this works out at the same
damage though. The Keldon Class will follow soon.

Installation**

Move all folders (Textures, odf, SOD) to your Star trek armada 2 directory

..... congrats :)



Additional Information**

The sod and textures will work in armada 1, file order will have to be changed
for the odfs and they will need editing quite a lot, Email me for help on this
if needed.

If you want this Galor to be additionally buildable you'll have to rename
the sod and odf, also a fair bit of modding is involved, feel free to
email me for help on this.

Feel free to use this in any mod so long as credit is given.

Feel free to edit the textures/model/odfs in any way so long as credit is given.

Personally, i think the stock galor, is very well done, and needs no improvment, or replacement

yup I think the stock Cardassian ships were quite nice, I just wanted to make it in my own style mate ;-) I have the keldon to do soon and a non cannon counterpart to the achilles class I hope you guys will like

I think that just a better texture for any stock ship would make the game look the best. Just don't alter the ODF, we can all do that ourselves

the stock ones look terrible! Well ok maybe not terrible, but terrible when compared to something this stunning! The proportions may not be completely cannon, but who cares! This is far better than that stock crap we were given! The Keldon is supposed to be the pinnacle of cardassian/dominion technology, and I'm glad that achilles has done it justice.(and to think we actually had to pay good money for something that is much worse than what is offered at this site... (shakes head and mutters incoherently...)
