What we have here is a mod by a brand new developer, so, constructive criticism will most likely be appreciated here folks Smile

Looking at the bzn image, it's a very full map with a division in the middle which looks to contain a "few" obstacles. Each player will start off with a large area with an abundance (possibly too many) resources before they venture down the middle to try and get to the enemy on the other side. Similar style maps have been done by this in the past however the large amount of resources available at the beginning may make sense as you try and overcome the obstacles in the middle that will most likely require large fleets of ships and researched weaponary.

All in all, for a first map, not bad at all. Certainly could be made better but that's why you gain experience as you go along. Good job, keep it up!

kevin, try to look up on this page, there is something called "description". there are letters and words. read. they make sense. they tell you its a map. (but without a picture)... ;-).

@Kevin - Try reading. Seriously, that is a spam-tastic comment you made. Still, if you do look, it clearly says "Armada 2 Downloads > Maps > 6 Players" so I'll leave it up for you to decide what that means...


@Amoebia - Thanks for thr explanation. DML didn't leave a jpeg and I wasn't about to go converting files and then resizing them. Trust me on the fact it looks good though :-)
