Here is a nice map, i liked it. The quote sums up what its about nicely. Wink

Quote:
It is a standard size 2player map. One player has one half, and the other player has the other half.
wormhole connect each half to the center passage through the map, intended to represent the inside of the wormhole.
there are several nebulas, 1 planet (either bajor or the Vorta homeworld kareel prime), and 1 dilithium moon.
there is an abandoned cardassian outpost at the wormhole entrance in the alpha quadrant and several abandoned vessels
in the cardassianromulan invasion force, lead by enobran tain, which were lost in the gamma quadrant.

This map is a very good map but i dont think it should be called the gamma quadrant. Well i guess it can if you were to say it is that quadrant in your view which would be chaos and disorder. Nebulas are all over the map which i think makes it nice to look at. But the major problems are that 1. Kurrill Prime (not Kareel Prime) isnt located in a nebula maybe you were confused with the FOUNDER homeworld which is but the VORTA homeworld is not.

2. The transwarp conduit leads to the one inside the asteroid thing BUT instead of staying inside it throws you out onto the other side and into the dangerous nebula.

Those are the only problems i have with it otherwise it is a good map and you did a great job.

I think it's either: a large size map to play with and there's the lag or maybe there's too much objects in the map to make it so, or just both.

STGamerNew2002, thankyou for your your post, i will try to release a new version for lower spec computers to decrease the lag, but it may take sometime as i am already designing a new map. i'll try to get this done before the end of the month. also there should be some more maps uploaded soon and a map pack featuring all my new maps. they were submitted a week ago but there still not up. keep a look out and i appriciate any input u have. thank you

i appologise to anyone who had hoped fo ds9 to be included but it would require every1 to have the same version of ds9 as me. also i would have needed to gain permission from the author. frankly it wasn't worth the trouble for anyone. sorry again all ;-)

Well, thanks for the posting back on my 'DS9' inquiry, seanabooth. I guest I can try to see what you mean of this, but I can't see a Alpha/Gamma map so well without DS9. I don't know what everyone else's view of this, but for me - it's NOT THE SAME without DS9 station! I seriously think that alot of us has the same version of the station(?). Well, I'm getting the good hang of mapping myself and I made one(in testing), of the Gamma Quadrant with another modder and having DS9 there is just great! With my 'Dominion Ultimate 1.1' mod, oh man it's like reliving the battles all over again in some way...... 8)
